A winning entry to the Passages competition sponsored by Metrolinx. The project approaches LRT development along Sheppard Avenue as an opportunity to introduce a pedestrian scale movement and gathering network.
Prototypical easement strategies and public elements are introduced that address a range of stakeholders and conditions. The surface LRT stops and adjacent environment are repositioned as pedestrian scale meeting places and participants in an urban neighbourhood.
