SERPENT MOUNDS
Location: Serpent Mounds Park and Burial Ground, Ontario.

Serpent Mounds is a plan and set of architectural interventions that address the complex history interwoven at Serpent Mounds Park on Rice Lake, Ontario. A sacred burial site for local and regional indigenous people, the site has also been a popular provincial park.
The design and circulation strategy reintegrate the drumlin geology that define the site. A set of regional and local landmarks intersect with site histories and ecologies, hosting recreational and cultural programming.
